  Loan lodgment was delayed due to manager being away. Wasnt told this at lodgement. Staff member said they will follow up and get in contact but never did.. 3 visits and 2 weeks later finally got funds approved due to a temp filling in from the city who actually got things done

  Very disappointing experience. I went in to close a personal loan for my sister who has moved overseas. I had to find out the payout fee to transfer the correct amount and then automatically close the personal loan. Before she left we organised for me to be a signatory and have full access to all her banking. The young customer service gentleman told me I would not be able to do this as I am unauthorized without even looking up the account details. I had been given the payout fee last week at a different branch, and when I advised the customer service man that I had access to this information last week, he again without accessing any information on the account told me that I was unauthorised and was legally not allowed this information. After requesting if the Manager could come and help me I was advised that there would be an undefined time wait and I would be told the same information. I went to another branch at Buranda Commonwealth and the final payout figure and personal loan was closed for me within 5 minutes. The payout figure was less than $50, so an insignificant amount also. I will not return to Indooroopilly again for further banking needs based on this experience, and will advise all my family and friends to also not attend this branch.
